I uploaded all product images in unified size 800x1091 px

set all default thumbnail sizes according to the same aspect ratio.

Regenarated thumbnails, but the result is many images got compressed or stretched in a weird way (both on product grid AND product details page)

Tried regenerating thumbnails and cleared cache many times but same result.
