Please assist. I have turned off the AJAX cart as it is taking forever to add items to the cart on our site.
I however now want to stop it from redirecting to cart after adding each item and want it to remain on the product page where it was.
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. The AJAX cart Function slows down the customer operations significantly. It is now just the redirect that needs to be resolved.
Unfortunately, if you are not using Ajax, the quantity in the cart will not be updated until the site refreshes. Customers also do not have any notification about whether the product has been added to the cart or not?
After disabling Ajax, the redirection to cart page after clicking add to cart comes from default and there is no on/off option.

What I have done is disabled "Ajax Variant" option in theme customiser, but then I have left Ajax Cart enabled with notices and this seems to have made adding to the cart faster as well. Will there bee any unforeseen problems with this configuration?
I can now however select multiple items to add at once without the redirecting happening and adding to the cart is substantially faster. In actual fact, the site in general is faster without the Ajax Variant enabled.
Disabling this AJAX Variant has made significant impact on the Ajax Cart. Speed of adding to the cart is increased immensely and I am now able to click multiple add to carts on various products straight after each other without any delays and without some not being added to the list.
We thankfully do not make use of the product colours.

Hi,
Ajax Variant is used to display the color for each product right on the homepage.
Disabling this option has no effect on the Ajax cart.
